WashPat Resources

Our Resources

WashPat's use of innovative industry techniques provides you with optimal data coverage and the most comprehensive search results available. Our internal resources have been modeled after – and improved from – the tools available in the USPTO's public searcher facility.

In addition, our custom designed Vidi Vici Viewer™ (translate: "I saw, I conquered") allows Analysts to scroll through subclasses, viewing the front page of every patent assigned to the subclass for the most accurate search results possible. The incorporation of creative research tools such as the VidiVici Viewer™, combined with the optimization and internalization of the resources available at the USPTO, allows WashPat to conduct the most comprehensive and innovative patent research in the industry.

WashPat's participation in global organizations, commitment to continued training , and quality assurance review processes ensure that we will continue to be a leader in the evolving patent research industry.

Quality Assurance Program

  • Every search conducted by Washpat is first submitted to a Technologyst™ (technology-specific search manager)

  • The Technologyst™ reviews the disclosure, applying his or her specialized knowledge and industry experience, and assigns the project to the Analyst best suited for the technology sector

  • Upon completion, every search is resubmitted to our Technologysts™ for review of the results, evaluation of the prior art and/or non-patent literature discovered, and a final determination of the consistency of the search with the embodiment of the disclosure

  • This process ensures that every search project is checked for integrity and comprehensiveness prior to leaving our offices
